"Summer break was my favorite time of year as a child, as it is for most kids. I cherished the simple pleasures of waking up early, watching my favorite cartoons, playing video games, and enjoying my favorite cereal. Despite the challenges of growing up, I was fortunate to have many memorable experiences. This inspired me to create a piece of art that captures the pure innocence of childhood."

"In my life, there have been many times that I have had to face a fear or a challenge that seemed like more than I could handle. I felt tiny compared to my fear in those moments, but I knew I eventually had to face it head-on. So, what's the inspiration behind this artwork? Bravery! Having the courage to fight against all odds, no matter how big the issue is. It's okay to be scared sometimes, but what you do in that state of fear matters. Move forward and be brave."

"Why would a tiny family of flames choose to live in a fire hydrant? I can't help but imagine them there, cozy and content. I wonder if they even worry about the constant threat of water rising through the pipes or if they're blissfully unaware. Either way, I like to picture them living happily in their little world."

"When I was younger, in kindergarten and the 8th grade, I switched schools. The first was a move to a different city, and the other was a new city and state. I still remember the butterflies I had the night before and the day of, wondering how my teachers would be or if I would make new friends. My first time walking into a new class, I felt nervous and alone. So, this work of art represents being the outsider, being in a new environment, and being able to embrace change."

"I was born with a condition called "in-toeing," commonly known as "pigeon-toed." As a result, I had to wear these hideous orthopedic shoes to school, and I quickly became the brunt of many jokes. It took me years to embrace my walk; my feet were not a burden but a unique quality about myself. Now, I can care less about how I walk, and I have been this way for many years. I accept who I am, and that's why I created this work of art."

"There aren't many creatures more intimidating than a fire-breathing dragon. Where most people would run and hide for cover, this little person takes the encounter as an opportunity to surf on the dragon's breath. Fearlessness—that's what inspired this work of art—having the ability to display courage in the most adverse moments. One can only wonder how the little person got on top of the wave of fire to be able to surf it. Was the little person living in the belly of the dragon and somehow escaped? What do you think? I'm not sure... I will let my imagination come up with the story I prefer."

"Is this a friend or a foe? When first meeting someone, you're not always sure of their intentions. Sometimes, you have to be reassured that that person doesn't mean you any harm before you can let your guard down. In this work of art, I wanted to convey the initial suspicion we might have with a first encounter. In this illustration, the little organism is unsure of the robot's motives but is unwilling to take any chances."

"One day, I was sitting in my studio, and I thought I always saw portrayals of UFOs abducting someone or something from the land. Wouldn't it be cool to create an art piece depicting a UFO abducting some marine life? Next, which marine life would the aliens take? An octopus, of course! I've always found the octopus to be very intriguing and mysterious at the same time. The only thing is that I did not want the aliens to get away with their catch so easily, so I added a little resistance from a much larger octopus, and there you have it. Enjoy!"

"My wife inspired this art piece... When we first started dating, she told me that she and her cousins would hang out in a cemetery when they were kids. I thought it was a little odd at first, but at the same time, it was cool. So, this artwork represents the ability to find peace in any environment, even if surrounded by the deceased. BOO!"

"I have several art pieces featuring this tiny person doing many courageous things. This particular work of art represents the ability to keep moving forward despite what life throws at you."

"I wonder where these mushrooms are headed. Are they marching off to war? Or perhaps just moving to a new location? Wherever they are off to, I trust they will make it there safely because the little one in the front with the flag looks determined to lead the way."

"The hardest critic of me is... you guessed it, me! If I allow it, I will nitpick myself into oblivion and then wonder why I can have issues with my confidence levels. It took years to realize that I had to love all of myself, even my flaws. The journey to understanding that all the love I ever wanted already resided within me has been beautiful. Today, I am much more confident in myself and my art. Loving me, all of me... that's the inspiration behind this work of art."

"One day, I was driving out of a grocery store parking lot with my wife, and I saw a kid holding onto the front of a shopping cart. His face had a huge smile on it, making me remember how much I used to love to do the same thing. At that moment, I knew what my next piece of artwork would be."
